We’ve kept what’s most important to you in mind, building in the convenience, flexibility, quality, value and healthy options you deserve. Explore our meal plan options to learn more about what would be the best fit for you.

  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
    All resident Freshmen will be placed on the 21+ Plan for their first semester. Their plan may be changed for the Spring semester.

    Resident students living in the following areas MUST purchase a meal plan. If you have not selected a plan by the deadline, you will be assigned the 21+ Plan.

    Contract deadline: 4:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 for the Fall semester. No meal plan changes will be accepted after the deadline.
    Meal Plan meals are served in Patriot Hall only. Meals must be used during the designated meal times and will be forfeited if not used.
    Breakfast is Monday-Friday 7:00am-10:30am, Saturday & Sunday 9:00am-11:00am
    1.Lunch is Monday-Friday 10:30am-4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm
    2.Dinner is Monday-Sunday 5pm-8pm                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     All students have a Flex Dollar account and may deposit funds into their account during the semester. If you wish to add money to your Flex Dollar account, use the link "Make a Deposit." There is a $5.00 minimum deposit. 

    Commuter students, apartment and cottage residents may purchase a meal plan if they wish, but are not required to do so. Those who opt out of the meal plan can and are encouraged to deposit Flex Dollars in their account. Flex Dollar purchases at Patriot Hall and Mount Cafe are tax free and using the Flex account is more efficient at the registers then using cash or credit card.
     
  • Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester? 
    Your Meal Plan will auto renew from Fall Semester through Spring Semester unless otherwise changed through the Mount Card Office.
     
  • Will unused meals or Flex Dollars roll over? 
    Meal Swipes are used day-to-day and do not roll over.  Flex dollars roll over from Fall Semester through the Spring Semester and will expire the last day of the semester.

  • If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?

Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.

Student Not Required to Buy
Apartment residents may purchase a meal plan should they choose to do so. Commuter students and apartment residents who opt out of the meal plans will be allowed to add Flex $’s to their Mount Card (online website is www.msmary.edu/mymountcard, $5 minimum deposit).
